“The formulation of 're-manufacturing green wealth' is an eye-opener,†Zhang Boshun, secretary-general of the China-ASIA market trade committee, recently said that the remanufacturing of auto parts is an important way for the automotive industry to develop a circular economy.
Zhang Boshun’s concept of “re-manufacturing green wealth†was first seen in the “07 China Auto Parts Industry Annual Conference and the Second China Automotive Summit Forum†held in Wuhan from September 1st to September 3rd. At the forum, the concept of “Remanufacturing and Creating Green Wealth†made by the relevant person in charge of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers for the first time mentioned this concept.
At the 2007 China Automotive Industry Development International Forum held in Tianjin, Dong Yang, executive vice president and secretary general of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, once again stated that auto parts remanufacturing is an important way for the automotive industry to develop a circular economy.
According to the statistics of China National Automobile Association, China’s car ownership keeps growing. The conservative target of 2010 is expected to reach 55 million vehicles (excluding three-wheeled vehicles, low-speed trucks), an average annual increase of 14.81%. Senior government officials concerned about "remanufacturing"

Remanufacturing has been highly valued by the central government. According to Zhang Boshun, existing companies have begun to focus on remanufacturing and remanufacturing markets. Development faces multiple obstacles
China still faces many problems in carrying out remanufacturing of auto parts.
