Zhang Guobao, deputy director of the National Development and Reform Commission and director of the National Energy Administration, said at the China (International) Energy Equipment Industry Development Forum held in Shenyang in early September that China must seize the major historical opportunities brought about by the energy science and technology revolution; energy equipment companies must have global Vision and active participation in the international competition awareness; to rely on major projects to strengthen organizational coordination; to increase investment and improve the energy science and technology innovation system; to further adjust and perfect the system and mechanism conducive to independent innovation.
