It is reported that the formation element logging technology mainly uses neutrons to measure the various elements and elemental content of the rock skeleton in the formation. How do neutrons measure formation lithology and skeleton parameters? This depends on the measurement of the energy spectrum. The measured neutrons can generate trapped gamma spectroscopy and inelastic scattering gamma spectroscopy in the strata, and these spectroscopic spectra can further acquire the element type and content of the stratum rock skeleton.
