On December 25, 2011, 30,000 tons/year of CS-12 (2,2,4-trimethyl-1,3-pentanediol monoisobutyrate) of Jiangsu Dana Chemical Binhai Co., Ltd. was jointly produced 10,000 yuan Ton/year TXIB (2,2,4 trimethyl-1,3 pentanediol diisobutyrate) plant was completed and put into production. After the plant was put into production, Dana Binhai became the largest film-forming auxiliary producer in China, achieving an annual sales income of 550 million yuan. CS-12 and TXIB are green environmental protection coalescents and environmental plasticizers. With the increasing awareness of safety and environmental protection, domestic demand for these two products is huge, but before the country did not form large-scale production, the market is monopolized by foreign companies. Therefore, Dana Binhai Co., Ltd. and East China Normal University cooperated in developing technologies to break foreign monopoly and could replace imported products.
