Selection points 1) Fire pump performance parameter requirements (1) Common fire pump operating conditions 1: When the suction depth is 1m, the rated flow (Qn) and rated pressure (Pn) requirements should be met, and the working pressure should not exceed 1.05 of the rated pressure. Times;
Condition 2: When the suction depth is 1m, the flow rate is 1.5Qn and the working pressure should not be less than 0.65Pn. The maximum working pressure must not exceed 1.4Pn.
(2) Working condition of deep well and submersible fire pump: When the suction depth is 0m, the rated flow (Qn) and rated pressure (Pn) requirements shall be met, and the working pressure shall not exceed 1.05 times the rated pressure.
Condition 2: When the suction depth is 0m, the flow rate is 1.5Qn and the working pressure should not be less than 0.65Pn. The maximum working pressure must not exceed 1.4Pn.
2) Testing of structural requirements, corrosion resistance, mechanical properties, continuous operation, etc. shall comply with the requirements of the standard GB6245-2006.
3) The pump used in the pump unit should be subjected to type identification and type inspection and comply with relevant standards.
The selected prime movers should be identified and conformed to the relevant standards. The engine should have a good start-up performance at room temperature and should be guaranteed to start smoothly within 5s. Within 20s after the introduction of water, the fire pump should be able to reach the rated condition.
4) The water pump impeller rotates flexibly without any jamming.
5) The designer should select and determine the type of fire pump according to the location, area and the specific conditions of the fire water supply system of the fire pump room in the project.
6) The flow rate and pressure of the fire pump shall be calculated and determined according to the requirements for the fire-fighting water volume and water pressure of the service buildings (or factory areas, residential quarters), storage yards, and storage tanks. Fire-fighting pumps should meet the fire water pressure and flow requirements. The flow rate and head of the pump are not lower than the design requirements and not lower than the given value of the performance curve.
7) The fire-fighting water pump of the temporary high-pressure fire-fighting water supply system shall be prepared for one or more use or be prepared for use. The standby fire pump's working ability should not be less than the largest one of the fire fighting working pumps. When more than one equipment is used, the impact of multiple fire pumps in parallel on system flow and pressure should be considered.
8) When selecting a fire pump, its flow rate ~ pressure (Q ~ P) characteristic curve should be flat without a hump. When conditions permit, the pump unit can be integrated with a tangential pump or pump valve (reduced pressure regulator valve).
