French Petroleum Service Company receives subsea equipment orders

Shipbuilding News, French oil service company Technip said on the 10th that it received an order for the Umbilical system production and installation project from one of the Subsea units from Royal Dutch Shell.

Duco, a subsidiary of Technip, will build the Umbilical system and install it in the Carbonamom and West Boreas fields in the Gulf of Mexico.

Technip said that for the Cardamom project, the Umbilical system of 9,265 meters is required, and the West Boreas field requires the Umbilical system of 6,096 meters.

The construction of the equipment will be carried out at Duco's Houston plant and will be delivered in the second half of next year.
