According to overseas media, Kia Motors is developing a Soul (China Domestic Show) EV electric vehicle, which will be first listed overseas at the beginning of next year and will be introduced into domestic sales in the future.

In fact, Kia had previously launched a Ray EV electric vehicle with a box-like shape similar to that of the Soul. However, the car was only put into operation in small-scale production in Korea. It was mainly used for testing purposes. With the Nissan Leaf gradually being favored in Europe and the United States, Kia began to consider launching the Soul EV.

It is understood that the maximum cruising range of the Soul EV electric vehicle is 200 kilometers in the fully charged state. There is no detailed power information for the time being. However, foreign media claims that the acceleration time of the vehicle from 0-100 km/h is less than 12 seconds and the maximum speed can be achieved. 140km/h, performance is stronger than Ray EV electric vehicle.

In addition, Kia stated that the Soul EV electric vehicle will be sold worldwide and is expected to start selling in the first half of 2014. It is expected that the new car will start at $35,490 (approximately RMB 218,000), which is not cheap at all.
