[ China Instrument Network Instrument Development ] Phosphorus is considered to be a limiting nutrient that determines water productivity and affects algae abnormal reproduction. A comprehensive interpretation of the relationship between phosphorus biogeochemical behavior and ecosystem response is of great significance for water quality improvement and ecosystem restoration. Most of the current researches are based on positive pentavalent phosphates, ignoring the existence of low-cost phosphorus such as positive trivalent, positive monovalent, and negative trivalent phosphorus. In recent years, more and more studies have confirmed that low-cost phosphorus is widely present in the environment, and its dominant redox process may be more important to maintain the overall ecosystem balance and elemental geochemical cycle than previous cognition. .
In-situ analysis technical process of low-cost phosphorus in the environment
The frequent occurrence of eutrophication in lakes in China can lead to large-scale hypoxia, which significantly affects the form and environmental behavior of phosphorus in water environment. However, due to the low content, instability and easy interference of low-cost phosphorus forms in lakes, it is difficult to analyze the traditional phosphorus speciation methods, which makes the current characteristics of phosphorus forms in eutrophic lakes The understanding of geochemical behaviors such as migration and transformation processes is very limited.
Recently, researchers such as Han Chao of the Nanjing Institute of Geography and Lakes of the Chinese Academy of Sciences have taken the lead in combining new in-situ sampling with two-dimensional capillary trace analysis and detection technology to successfully construct in situ and simultaneous separation of various phosphorus forms in complex matrices. And online monitoring methods. The method can realize the on-line purification and enrichment of ultra-trace phosphorus forms and interfering substances, greatly improve the detection sensitivity, and can accurately restore the information of low-cost phosphorus in the environment. On this basis, the researchers used the typical eutrophic lake Taihu as the research object. Through indoor simulation and in-situ monitoring experiments, the research on the distribution characteristics and migration and transformation control mechanism of low-cost phosphorus interface in the anoxic lake area was deeply studied.
The relevant research results are published in Water Research under the title of In situ sampling and speciation method for measuring dissolved phosphite at ultratrace concentrations in the natural environment. The research was funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province, and the National Key Laboratory of Pollution Control and Resource Research.
