Combining the production of provincial products, the project will use 3 million tons of methanol from coke oven gas as a basis to promote an annual output of 600,000 tons or more of methanol synthesis olefins projects to be completed and put into production.

In addition, Shanxi Province will also use the province's tar processing capacity of 3 million tons and crude benzene refining capacity of 1 million tons to form crude benzene refining and coal tar fractions phenol oil, naphthalene oil, washing oil, oyster sauce, diterpenoid oil, Coal tar pitch and other products and extension products industry system.

In the layout of corporate cooperation, it is required that the existing large-scale chemical production and processing enterprises in the province should jointly build a centralized processing platform for chemical products with large-scale enterprises and parks in the form of joint-stock companies. Encourage individual reserved enterprises within the radiation radius of each chemical processing platform to establish a long-term strategic cooperative relationship with the corresponding centralized chemical processing platform based on market or capital, and forward-end the methanol, coal tar, and crude benzene in the region. Products are processed centrally.
