The 2014 15-inch MacBook Pro offers excellent performance and better Ultra HD screens, plus its specifications were upgraded to be sold at the same price last year. There are few new position upgrades beyond trace components, and the entry-level 15-inch Pro is the same as the previous price, even as some other MacBooks have seen hundreds of dollar cuts. The higher resolution screen is no longer a unique feature.
The small update to the 2014 model was not enough, and most of the existing users upgraded, and Apple’s excellent 15-inch Retina MacBook Pro is still the shopper's choice for the laptop we went to. For anybody complaining that Apple has not released any new products this year, after a series of understatement, but important updates to Mac's online laptops and desktops.
As early as this year, we have seen the bumpy and price-reduced 11-inch and 13-inch MacBook Air, the all-in-one desktop of the new, lower-cost, entry-level 21.5-inch iMac, and now the upgrade of similar components. And the price cuts to the MacBook Pro series.
