2, no cooling water or adding boiling water to start, diesel engine start and then add cooling water, will make hot cylinder liner, cylinder cover and other important components due to sudden cold caused by burst or deformation; to the cold body 100 °C sudden increase Boiling water will also crack the cylinder head and body and should be added when the water temperature drops to 60-70°C.

3. The ignition point of gasoline directly into the intake pipe of gasoline is lower than that of diesel, and it is burned before diesel. Therefore, directly filling gasoline into the intake pipe will make the engine work rough and produce a strong knocking phenomenon. In severe cases, engine reversal may occur.

4. If the diesel engine is not supplied as required, the decompression handle should not be put into the "work" position and then be supplied with oil. However, the accelerator handle should be placed on the fuel supply position before starting. The harm that does not operate in accordance with this regulation is: wasting fuel; excess diesel will scour the wall of the cylinder, which will worsen the lubrication between the piston, piston ring and cylinder liner and exacerbate the wear; the flow of residual oil into the oil pan will dilute the oil and reduce the lubrication effect; Excessive combustion of diesel in the cylinder does not completely form carbon deposits.

5. The engine that is continuously started on a diesel generator for a long time is operated under a condition of low voltage and high current, and it will damage the battery if it is used for a long time. Its continuous working time shall not exceed 5 seconds; once it is not started, it shall be restarted every 15 seconds.

6, long-term use of glow plugs, flame preheater glow plugs, flame preheater heating element are electric wire, its power consumption and heat is very large, long-term use may be due to rapid discharge and damage the battery, At the same time can also burn out the heating wire. Therefore, the time for each continuous use of the glow plug cannot exceed 1 minute, and the time for each successive use of the flame heater must be controlled. Made within 20 seconds.

7, not on schedule for oil, fuel in cold weather, if you do not change the low viscosity of lubricants and fuel, diesel engine is difficult to start.

8, directly to the oil into the cylinder to add oil to the cylinder, although it can play the role of sealed pressurized warming, easy to start the diesel engine cold, but the oil can not be completely burned, easy to produce carbon, the elasticity of the piston ring weakened, cylinder The sealing performance is degraded; in addition, the wear of the cylinder liner is accelerated, resulting in a decrease in the power of the diesel engine and making the starting more difficult, so that the engine oil cannot be directly added to the cylinder.

9. The pull-start diesel generator starts the pull-down car when the cold oil is thick, which will aggravate the wear between the moving parts, thereby reducing the service life of the locomotive.
