ZF India Technology Center Completes Product Development

A few days ago, ZF completed its ITC in India. The center will focus on research and development of advanced electronic and software solutions for automotive and industrial applications. The center will enhance the global R&D network while expanding local product development in India.

In September 2016, ZF took the lead to announce the establishment of the Indian Technology Center. The planned investment of the facility will reach 15 million euros (about 15.7695 million U.S. dollars) and will continue to invest in the next five years. By 2020, the The center will have 2,500 engineers.

Zama’s chief digital officer, Mamatha Chamarthi, said: “The Indian Technology Center will seamlessly integrate with ZF’s R&D network and become one of the pillars of corporate innovation. The demand for software solutions is With continuous growth, ZF's production capacity will increase several times, helping to support users' growth expectations in global and local markets."

After working with a global team of engineers, technical center activities will focus on electrical and software innovation. At the same time, the Indian Technology Center will also promote local product development. ZF leverages India's vast talent pool to further develop the product portfolio of intelligent mechanical systems.
