In recent years, Huangyan has been vigorously building and upgrading its public service platform, and has focused on building six major platforms, striving to seek new breakthroughs in the transformation and upgrading of the mold industry.

In the mold industry's land resources, Huangyan not only has a Xicheng Mould City with an area of ​​more than 750 acres, but also has a considerable number of mold companies in the provincial economic development zone. In order to form a new growth pole for the Huangyan Mould, a space of nearly 3,000 mu has been specifically designated in the Xituo section of the industrial park for the construction of a new mold city, expanding the space for the development of the mold industry. At present, the first phase of 622 mu of land has been formally initiated. The infrastructure of the park is basically completed, and 16 companies are expected to enter the site during the year.

To agglomerate the factors for development, we use the ideas of “government lead, policy support, association operation, corporate funding, market operation, and mutual benefit” to plan for the promotion of preferential land transfer prices. The main mode of corporate investment is to invest and who will benefit. In 2008, through the investigation and exploration of various die design units distributed in the region, the Molding Industrial Design Association with more than 50 member companies was established. The Association took the lead in the formulation and implementation of the plastic mold mass industrial alliance standards in China and has been widely adopted by the mold enterprises in the entire region. In 2009, the "Huangyan Mould" Cup China International Industrial Design Expo was successfully held to promote industrial design. With the construction of numerous technical service platforms, the level of independent R&D of the mold industry has been continuously improved, the numerical control rate has increased to around 70%, which is higher than the national 10%; and the application of new technologies and R&D has been at the forefront of the nation, from 2003 to 2008, Huangyan has 110 molds recommended by the China Die & Mould Industry Association as national-level new products (45.8% of the total), of which 91 are international molds (37.9% of the total), and the main supporting role of scientific and technological primary production is increasing. obvious.
