At the 2011 Miami International Boat Show that ended on February 21, the number of visitors increased by 14% compared to last year. According to the National Shipbuilding Association, which hosted the yacht show, 104,168 people visited the Miami International Boat Show this year, compared to 91,415 last year.

As an independent exhibition, the Miami Maritime Expo has a total of 18,122 visitors this year, compared with 19,723 in 2009, which is a drop of 8%.

The National Shipbuilding Association of America stated that the atmosphere of the five-day exhibition was very lively. The exhibitors of both exhibitions indicated that there were many people with purchase intentions, and the sales volume on the spot also increased.
