Experts believe that the system adopts a step-by-step control design concept, which realizes man-machine interaction and achieves automatic sequential control and interlocking of the operation of the coke drum tower system. The coke drum of the 1.2 million-ton/year coking unit of Yanzhou Petrochemicals Co., Ltd. is an intermittent operation. In each 24-hour production cycle, two coke drums have to be converted to each other, and at least 11 steps need to be completed manually. Misoperation. In order to improve the level of automation of the plant, Quzhou Refining and Chemicals Co., Ltd. will jointly implement the development and application of the coke drum sequence control and safety interlock system in July 2009, and will use procedures to regulate the operation steps of the coke drum tower. According to estimates, after using this system, the equipment coke cycle shortened from 24 hours to 20 hours, and the processing capacity reached 127% of the design capacity.
