On August 7th, the 39,500-ton ship of No. 2 of China Shipbuilding Chengxi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. successfully completed the construction without any hoisting. The entire hoisting time was about 1 hour, which was shortened by about 3 hours compared with the No. 1 ship.
In the past, before the hoisting was carried out, the remaining amount of the lower part was cut only according to the flatness of the deck. However, due to the balance with the chimney, the upper construction could not be directly hoisted in place. Before the ship was launched, the chimney hoisting and welding work was quickly completed by the working area in the workshop. Through the cooperation with the precision department, the overall cutting of the construction was completed, which improved the efficiency of the hoisting.
