The top eight trucks sold a total of about 4.41 million vehicles, which was calculated based on their total occupancy rate of 92%. In July, the heavy truck market sold a total of 47,900 vehicles.
In the first seven months, a total of 590,000 heavy trucks were sold, and positive growth companies further reduced
Due to continuous sales delays in the five months of May, June and July 2011, the cumulative decline in the heavy truck market since May has continued to increase. From January to July 2011, the total sales volume of the heavy truck market was approximately 591,300 units, a year-on-year decrease of 9.6%, which was an increase of 2.6 percentage points from the same period of the first six months of decline (-7.0%).
In July alone, the sales volume was less than 50,000 units in a single month, a year-on-year decrease of more than 30%. This resulted in the continued reduction in the cumulative sales growth in the previous July. The first echelon continued to lose. As the tow truck market slumped, the heavy trucks fell by more than 35% and ranked first in the decline. China National Heavy Duty Truck followed closely with a 19.7% decline; Dongfeng Commercial Due to the relatively balanced product structure of the vehicle and the consequent increase of Dongfeng Tianlong heavy trucks, the sales volume in the first seven months (12.36 million units) only fell slightly from the previous year, which was -2.9%. In the second tier, only Futian Auman maintained positive growth (7.2%). In the third echelon, the cumulative sales of Beibei remained unchanged year-on-year, leaving only a certain positive growth in Jianghuai and Hongyan.
It is worth mentioning that due to the significant increase in the number of trucks, Jianghuai Automobile continued to rank first in the heavy truck market, up from 89.3% in the first seven months. The brilliant performance of JAC Heavy Duty Trucks also made it accumulatively more sales than the Beiben Heavy Duty Truck in January-July 2011, ranking sixth in the sales rankings of the industry.
Companies are trying to tide over difficulties
In disastrous months of July and August, various heavy truck manufacturers took action and spent time with dealers and industry chain partners. China National Heavy Duty Truck launched the first National Truck Service Skills Contest on July 12, 2011, aiming to improve the professional qualities of technical service personnel and meet the ever-changing customer demand for vehicles. In the second half of the year, CNHTC will promote sales through services, continuously improve customer satisfaction as the main line, and gradually form a standardized system of “relative people†services with the characteristics of heavy trucks, achieve new breakthroughs in service timeliness and effectiveness, and provide new vehicle sales. Strong support platform.
Shaanxi Automobile signed the Service Agreement for Heavy Truck Trucks with Weichai Power, Fast and other suppliers at the mid-year business conference. The relevant person in charge of the Shaanxi Automobile Marketing Department told reporters that in the second half of 2011, Shaanxi Automobile will launch a series of measures centering on the “Service Conventionâ€. On the one hand, the number of Shaanqi service stations will be increased to 1,000 by the end of 2011, and they will all realize one-stop services to ensure that services are more convenient and faster.
On the other hand, Shaanxi Steam will attack the three aspects of service policy, accessories policy and service management. In terms of service policies, the service personnel will be treated better, the service standards will be standardized, the operation will be easier, the management will be more detailed and the assessment will be more stringent, and the accessories policy will be more flexible, easy to operate and meet the needs of Shaanxi Auto, and further improve the accessories policy. Sex and regionality are stronger. On the improvement of service management, dynamic management is reset, different levels of management are performed, service policies are interlocked, organic integration, management is more clear, and business is more standardized.
For the market that is not optimistic for the second half of the year, Hualing will devote its efforts to financial services, promote the bank’s consumer credit business at full speed, and set up a financial leasing company to adopt auto finance measures to curb sales declines and avoid market risks.
The other three companies in the heavy truck market plan to introduce new products and create new product platforms in the second half of the year. Futian Auman, Jianghuai Geerfa and SAIC Iveco Hongyan are all about to launch new heavy-duty trucks. Although the three are positioned differently, Auman will launch GTL mid-to-high-end heavy trucks and JAC Gehlfass will launch Zhongti Che and Hongyan. The introduction of Classic mid-range heavy trucks, but the goal is almost the same: to explore new growth points and enhance their own corporate market performance.
It seems that until September and October, the heavy-duty truck industry in 2011 is likely to see the dawn of the market.
