The new train operation plan will adjust the train operation plan and appropriately reduce the speed of the new high-speed rail operation at the initial stage. The new plan will be implemented in two phases.

The main characteristics of the new train chart will be to adjust the speed of the current Beijing-Tianjin Intercity and Shanghai-Hangzhou high-speed rail from 350 km to 300 km; to combine Ning, Hewu, Shitai, Changjiu, Hainan East Ring and Hangzhou-Shenzhen Line The speed of Ningbo-Xiamen section, Changji, and Qinshen high-speed rails was adjusted from 250 kilometers to 200 kilometers; the speed of the EMU trains running on passenger and cargo mixed lines was adjusted from 200 kilometers to 160 kilometers.

The speed adjustment of the EMU trains will be extended. The through trains and stopovers will remain basically unchanged. The fare for each seat will fluctuate about 5% based on the current fare level.

The new plan will be implemented in two phases. In the first phase, the Beijing-Tianjin Intercity, Hainan East Central, and Guangzhou-Zhuhai intercity high-speed rail will implement a new map from midnight on August 16th. From August 12, the three high-speed rails will be adjusted according to the new train chart and fare pre-sale ticket. After the adjustment, the number of trains traveling between Beijing-Tianjin Intercity, Hainan East Ring, and Guangzhou-Zhuhai intercity high-speed rail will remain unchanged.

Because the CRH380BL EMUs produced by the CNR Group had failed many times since they were put into operation, the company had decided to recall the EMUs for rectification. After the recall of this type of EMU, it will affect the logarithm of Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail trains, and the railway department has taken vehicle adjustment measures to minimize the impact. After adjustment, the number of Beijing-Shanghai high-speed trains will be reduced from the current 88 pairs to 66 pairs. The new operating plan will be implemented on August 16 and will begin pre-sale tickets on August 12. During the adjustment period, in order to meet the passenger travel demand, from September 1st onwards, the Beijing-Shanghai line will be opened in the evening and moved to a moving train.

In the second phase, other high-speed rails will implement a new map from midnight on August 28th. From August 24th onwards, the new train operation map and fare pre-sale ticket will be adjusted.

In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the high-speed rail operation speed adjustment, the railway department has formulated alternate plans for new and old train diagrams, and will announce new train operating times to the society through news media such as newspapers, radio, television, and the Internet. The railway ministry will give priority to changing or refunding the ticket for a small number of changed trains that have been sold. As a result, the railway department apologized for the inconvenience caused to travelers.
